Résumé

Le confinement externe par des Polymères Renforcés de Fibres (PRF) est maintenant une technique largement mise en œuvre pour renforcer et réparer les poteaux en béton armé (BA). La grande majorité des resultats des essais realises concernent des cylindres de béton sous chargement axial concentrique. En pratique, les colonnes en BA ont souvent une section transversal de forme carrée ou rectangulaire et soumises à des charges excentriques. Plusieurs paramétres influent sur le comportement structurel de tels elements. Une nouvelle technique de renforcement nommée NSM (Near Surface Mounted) a été utilisée ces dernières années pour renforcer les éléments structuraux en flexion. On presente dans cet article certains principaux résultats emanent de l’effet des parametres tels que que le degré d’excentricité, le nombre des couches du renfort, l’élancement des poteaux,la forme de la section et la présence de bandes verticales. On s’intéresse particulieremnt aux gains de résistance et de ductilité.
