In our modern era, the issue of compatibility in marriage has become a source of concern for Islamic societies and every family, as they consider it of the utmost importance to choose a suitable spouse and in-laws. Since the very foundation of the marriage contract is based on stability and permanence, Islam has established a set of precise principles to be observed when entering into marriage, ensuring harmony and compatibility between spouses by considering their religious, social, and cultural affinities. This is essential for the relationship’s success, enabling it to bear fruit and produce a generation that is psychologically and socially balanced. Islam has paid close attention to marriage, making it a legitimate institution and establishing its pillars and conditions.
