Abstract

The inclusion of the environmental dimension within the urban planning of the new city in Algeria has become a necessity more than an imperative, imposed by the requirements of sustainable development and the repercussions of the general urban policy that laid out the broad lines for environmental protection, which the Algerian legislator did not hesitate to value through the legislative system that accompanied the establishment and promotion of the city and the use of tools Which contributes to the consolidation of this protection by preserving the environmental components in light of the rapid urban expansion that threatens the environmental gains, which needs organization and more dynamic and effective means embodied in the various reconstruction decisions that contributed to highlighting this protection through the exercise control of all the construction activities accompanying the establishment of the new city
