Investment of Real Estate Endowment (Waqf) Properties in Light of Executive Decree No. 18-213

Abstract

This research addresses the exploitation of endowment properties intended for the implementation of investment projects, as stipulated in Executive Decree No. 18/213, which specifies the terms and conditions for the exploitation of endowment properties intended for the implementation of investment projects. Its provisions apply to built or unbuilt properties intended for the implementation of investment projects, whether located in developed or developing sectors, with the aim of enhancing and developing endowment properties. This study aims to clarify the conditions for investing in and exploiting endowment properties as stipulated in Executive Decree No. 18/213, And the methods of exploiting them, and the rights and obligations arising from contracts for exploiting and investing endowment properties, whether for the authority in charge of endowments or for the investor who owns the investment project.
