Protection of Copyright in the Electronic Publishing Contract
Abstract
The topic of protecting copyright in electronic publishing contracts addresses the legal and technical challenges arising from technological advancements and the widespread use of the internet, which have led to new forms of exploitation of intellectual works. Although electronic publishing offers speed in distribution and ease of access to works, it also poses increasing risks related to copyright infringement, especially through unauthorized copying and redistribution. The importance of the electronic publishing contract lies in regulating the relationship between the author and the electronic publisher and ensuring the author's moral and financial rights. Effective protection requires combining traditional legal rules with modern technical measures, while balancing the author's interests with the public's right to legitimate use of digital works
