LOCALISATION ULTRASTRUCTURALE DU CALCIUM ENDOGENE DANS DES ELECTRORECEPTEURS CUTANES DE POISSONS TELEOSTEENS

Abstract

Le calcium a été identifié à l’échelle ultrastructurale par la méthode de Probst [1] dans trois électrorécepteurs cutanés spécifiques du système de la ligne latérale de poissons téléostéens : l'organe ampullaire et l'organe de type B ou Gymnarchomaste chez Gvmnarchus niloticus (Gymnarchidae) et l’organe tubéreux chez Apteronotus leptorhynchus (Gymnotidae). Dans ces organes sensoriels, le calcium endogène qui se présente sous forme de précipités denses aux électrons, est localisé dans des organites cytoplasmiques des cellules sensorielles et dans la fibre nerveuse afférente. Il est absent dans le "cleft" synaptique et peu concentré dans les cellules accessoires. Dans les cellules sensorielles, on trouve ces dépôts dans les vésicules synaptiques, surtout celles situées au voisinage des rubans synaptiques, dans les saccules du réticulum endoplasmique et entre les feuillets de la membrane nucléaire. Dans les mitochondries peu de dépôts sont présents et le diamètre des granulations est plus petit que celui observé dans les autres structures cellulaires. Dans la fibre nerveuse, de fines granulations sont présentes dans les saccules de réticulum, dans les neurotubules et les mitochondries. Les dépôts les plus importants sont situés entre les feuillets de la gaine de myéline.
