Peer Review Process
The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, whereby each article is evaluated by two to three independent reviewers, ensuring rigor, objectivity, and impartiality. The review process generally takes four to six weeks, and may result in one of the following decisions: acceptance, revision, or rejection, accompanied by detailed feedback provided to the author.
The evaluation of the article is carried out in two main stages. In the first stage, the article undergoes a confidential preliminary examination by the journal’s reading committee, which meets regularly and intervenes at the pre-evaluation level. This committee assesses the article and decides whether it qualifies for further review. If the decision is negative, the article is rejected through the platform, and the author is informed of the reasons for rejection. The author may resubmit the article after taking into account the recommendations provided.
In the second stage, if the article is deemed eligible for evaluation—meaning it complies with the journal template and publication requirements—it is sent in an anonymized and secure form to the Associate Editor specialized in the relevant field. The Associate Editor then forwards the article to two reviewers within their academic network. These reviewers evaluate the article using a standardized evaluation form available on the ASJP platform.
The Associate Editor may also undertake the evaluation of the article if deemed necessary. Throughout the process, the journal secretary ensures coordination and communication between the authors and the editorial team.
