This study aims to identify the legal means approved by the Algerian legislator to protect the consumer in the off-plan property sale contract. Although this contract achieves many benefits for both the real estate developer (seller) and the consumer (buyer), it may be accompanied by many risks, especially for the consumer, who is the weaker party in this contractual relationship compared to the real estate developer, who is a professional in the field of construction and has extensive experience and competence in this field. Therefore, it was necessary for the Algerian legislator to provide the consumer in this contract with sufficient legal means to protect him, at all stages of the contract.
