Abstract

Abstract: The widespread and astonishing spread of Electronic commerce and the growing use of electronic contracts led to the necessity to seek an alternative to traditional signature. This alternative helps avoid an obstacle facing electronic transaction over the internet. Therefore, a new type of signature appeared. This type is different in form, content and technology from the traditional signature, as it is placed on document that differ in turn from the traditional ones. This study aims at highlighting the extent of the authenticity of Electronic Signature and its effectiveness in proving the electronic business transactions, in order to show the ability of the Algerian legislator for activating the means of proof in the field of Electronic commerce.
