Takaful Insurance from the Perspective of Algerian Legislation

Abstract

We aim through this study to shed light on the legal and regulatory texts of
Takaful insurance in Algeria. The Takaful insurance has developed significantly
in recent years, and its products have spread and the number of its customers is
constantly increasing, so the Takaful insurance industry has become an inevitable
necessity and constituted a distinctive factor in achieving stability and reducing
risks, as it directly affected the financial industry, and Algeria, like other
countries, adopted the insurance system Takaful, and tried to provide him a
ground for the application of this insurance through the laws and decrees related
to Takaful insurance, but these legal texts are still tainted by some ambiguity. It
needs studies and more organization to expedite it in line with the Takaful
insurance system in Algeria, and to keep pace with the countries that preceded us
to it.
