Abstract

Today we are facing a development in the use of electronic media as a result of a digital revolution that affected all fields in which the lifestyle of individuals has changed, and new concepts have emerged, such as digital transformation and the digital market built on information technology, left behind by the advancement of technology and the use of algorithms and methods of artificial intelligence, this development that has taken care of Developed countries such as America, Europe and Southeast Asian countries, the latter have developed their own internal laws in line with these new data, bridging the digital divide, including competition laws that concern the relationship between competitors in the market and improving their competitive positions, as well as regulating relations between trading partners within the framework of What is known as restrictive practices. The aim of our study was to search for the impact of digital transformation on practices restricting competition, and the study showed that digital transformation has important repercussions on competition law and the emergence of new concepts that legislators must take into account in the amendments to competition laws
