Abstract

Through this study, we address the transfer implications of copyright protection from the traditional environment to the digital environment, as the spread of the Internet and the growing phenomenon of social media use has led to the ease of copyright violation and ease of sharing it with others in a short time, Considering that literary and artistic works are the fruit of human thought, national laws and international conventions have hastened to extend protection to them and recognize the material and moral rights of their owners, through a number of civil and criminal legal means, but these methods, although they are easy to apply in the traditional environment, present several problems in the digital environment.
