Requirements for the protection of industrial designs and models inlight of digital changes in Algerian Legislation

Abstract

Industrial drawings and models constitute amanifestation of commodities, goods and various products that give them anattractive aesthetic characteristic and as such they are not limited tobeing anartistic or creative element, but rather they work to increase the commercialvalue of products and facilitate their marketing and this is what makes themdifferent from other similar systems. In order for industrial designs and models toreceive the necessary legal protection they must include a set of conditionsand on this basis this study aims to research the concept of industrial designsand models and to define the various controls necessary to protect them .
