Conformity certificate as a remote mechanism in the field of real estate

Abstract

This study aims to define the role of the conformity certificate as a document delivered by a competent administrative authority in the field of controlling real estate activity. And because of its importance in proving the conformity of building to legal specifications, and specified in the building permit, the Algerian legislator required obtaining a certificate of conformity before transferring the ownership of the built property. Algerian legislator also imposed penalties in the event that real estate promoter did not commit to extracting conformity certificate according to legally established procedures.
