Abstract

Abstract: The enforcement of foreign judgments is one of the most important subjects of private international law, because it involves the enforcement of rights and the embodiment of justice, The Algerian legislature allows the enforcement of foreign judgments on its territory, but it is not the same as national judgments, since the latter can be enforced once finalized, while the enforcement of foreign judgments in Algeria requires an unusual prior procedure in execution procedures, as the stakeholder must request for enforcement of judgment according to Article 607 of the Civil and Administrative Procedure Law.
