Spam and legal and technical mechanisms to counter
Abstract
Spam is one of the latest problems experienced by e-mail users and the Internet in general, given that these messages constitute an assault on the lives and private data of users, and it does not stop there. Since the senders of these messages send them in huge quantities, users are surprised when they open their email inbox with countless numbers of these messages were sent to them without their knowledge and desire, in addition to the fatigue that it causes them to remove them, and it also affects the memory of their computer or their smartphone, being It takes up a lot of this memory. Given the damages and problems that these messages cause to users, some relevant institutions, as well as countries, have interfered with their legislation, in order to put in place technical and legal mechanisms to limit the circulation of this kind of annoying electronic messages.
