Since the field of public procurement constitutes the most important path through
which public funds move, it is thus a vital field for corruption in all its forms,
which has prompted the legislator to criminalize all acts affecting the integrity of
the process of concluding public procurement, and this is evident through many
provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating Corruption, Which stipulated
in its entirety the criminalization and suppression of the offenses committed
during the conclusion of the transaction, and the legislator also stipulated the
diversification and multiplication of the penalties prescribed for them, in order to
suppress them and confront them, with the aim of thereby preserving public
money and the public interest.
