Abstract

This study, based on the descriptive analytical approach, aimed to investigate the most important efforts made by Algeria to enhance digital financial inclusion and the levels it has reached in this regard, in light of its efforts to advance the field of information and communications technology for many years on the one hand and its recent adoption of a national strategy for digital transformation on the other hand.

The study reached a number of results, the most prominent of which are: Algeria is witnessing modest levels that do not rise to the required level in the field of digital financial inclusion, and that its efforts to advance the field of information and communications technology have been insufficient over the past years, while formulating a national strategy for digital transformation and starting to implement it during the coming period can enhance the level of digital financial inclusion in Algeria.
