Abstract

This article explores the issue of "youth violence" in the contemporary urban environment through a sociological lens, incorporating diverse theoretical frameworks and a multitude of studies concerning the notion of violence and its interconnections with pivotal concepts like urban violence, youth, and the urban milieu.

It seeks to elucidate the situation of young individuals in Algerian cities, particularly how their urban challenges and architectural contexts influence their perceptions of reality and the proliferation of violence within these groups.
