Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not already been published, and is not currently being considered by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the editor).
  • The submission file is in a Microsoft Word document file format (.docx format).
  • Where possible, references's URLs have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12 point Times New Roman font; use italics rather than underlines (except for URL addresses); and place all illustrations, figures, and tables in the appropriate places in the text rather than at the end.
  • The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for authors , which can be found in "For Authors" section.

Author Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be provided in these three languages and not exceed 120 words.
  • The different illustrations (tables, figures, etc.) must be incorporated into the text of the article. 

I- Manuscrips

Articles submitted for publication (three copies) must not exceed 20 typed pages (tables, figures, graphs, bibliography, ... included) with a large margin to the left (3 cm), printed on 21 x 29 size paper , 7 cm (A4) with spacing of good legibility. (Times New Roman font size 12 recommended). Some flexibility is allowed to the authors, but they must organize the text clearly in sections such as: Introduction, Experimental details, Results, Discussion and Conclusion. Longer articles will be published by part in successive issues, each part being determined by the authors. It is requested in addition to the authors to kindly accompany the summary (in English, French, Arabic) of their articles, of keywords as complete as possible (in the 3 languages ​​also and for the mathematical articles, indicate the classification AMS) .
In the interest of saving time and respecting publication deadlines, it is recommended that authors take charge of the complete entry of their article on a microcomputer, and send it to the journal, after they have been notified. acceptance for publication, in the form of files on CD or by e-mail in attached files.
However, since the final formatting of the article is carried out by P.A.O. (Computer Aided Publication), authors are asked to avoid any formatting of their text. So you should avoid styling it.

II- Bibliography

The bibliographic references quoted in the text must include only the reference number in square brackets (ex .: [5]). If the name of the author appears in the text, it must be followed by the reference number. When the reference contains more than two authors, only the first is cited, followed by "and al".

For articles, the complete reference includes the names of the authors followed by the initials of their first names, the title of the article, the title of the periodical (in conformity with the abbreviations allowed), the volume, the number of the periodical, the year of publication and the relevant pages.

For the works, the reference must include the names of the authors followed by the initials of their first names, the complete title of the work, the volume, the volume, the first and the last page relating to the results discussed, the number of the edition if there are several, the name of the publisher, the place and the year of edition.

For scientific meetings (congresses, proceedings, ...), the reference includes the names of the authors followed by the initials of their first names, the title of the communication, the identification of the meeting, the place, the period and the pages concerned.

III- Iconography

Tables, boards, charts, maps, photographs, etc. must be provided separately, inset. They must be presented on white sheets of A4 format, individually or in groups, and have underneath the words "table" or "figure" assigned a number.

The illustrations and figures must be clear, professionally made and adequate for reproduction: a 50% reduction, if any, must lead to a suitable size and thickness of characters for good readability. Moreover, for computer-generated figures, in order to maximize contrast, the use of a laser or inkjet printer is essential.

Legends assigned their numbers must be grouped in a separate page.

The final presentation of the article will be left to the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Once the article accepted for publication, it would be appropriate to send the corrected version in 03 separate files: text file, table file, figure file in electronic version: CD and / or by E-mail to the e-mail corresponding to the section.

The three (03) copies (paper version only: one original plus two copies) must be sent to the following address: Vice-Rectorate responsible for Post-Graduation and Scientific Research.

Copyright Notice

For any work submitted to the Journal of Human Sciences, authors must complete and sign a copyright transfer form.

In order to ensure uniformity of treatment between all contributors, other forms cannot substitute to this form, and no part of the form can be modified. This form is for original material submitted to the journal of Human Sciences and should accompany any such material in order to be published.

COPYRIGHT TRANSFER

By signing, the author (s) cedes to the University Freres Mentouri Constantine 1, represented by the " Journal of Human Sciences " all copyrights that may exist in and on the Work concerned and on any derivative work revised or extended, submitted to the journal of the Human Sciences by the author based on the Work, and any associated written, audio, and/or visual presentation or other enhancements accompanying the Work. The Author further warrants that the Work is original and that he/she is the author of the Work. The author (s) also guarantees that he/she has obtained all the necessary authorizations in the case where the Work incorporates passages of text, figures, data or other elements from the works of others.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AUTHOR

The Journal of Human Sciences distributes its technical publications throughout the world and wants to ensure that the material submitted to its publications is properly available to the readership of these publications. Authors must ensure that their work meets the requirements of the Journal of Human Sciences, including provisions regarding originality, authorship, author's liability and author's fault. It is the responsibility of the authors, and not of the Journal of Human Sciences, to determine whether disclosure of their work requires the prior consent of other parties and, if so, the statements and opinions given in the work published by the Journal of Human Sciences are the expression of the authors.

  • In case the submitted work is not accepted and published by the journal of Human Sciences or is withdrawn by the author(s) prior to acceptance by the journal, the previous copyright transfer will become void and all information embodying work submitted to the Journal of Human Sciences will be destroyed.
  • For jointly created works, all co-authors must sign, or one of the authors must sign as authorized agent for the others.
