Les téléconférences d’EuroTransMed au service de la formation médicale à distance. Evaluation d’une formation pilote en anglais de spécialité en sciences médicales
Abstract
L’existence d’un réseau satellite dénommé EuroTransMed a permis à l’Université de Constantine de se connecter afin de recevoir des téléconférences médicales à distance en langue anglaise et en temps réel sur les cinq continents pour assurer une formation médicale continue et actualisée. Dans le cadre du projet de recherche «English for Specific Purposes, Mutimedia and interactivity», les téléconférences ont fait l’objet d’une prise en charge par l’équipe de recherche. Le fonctionnement est organisé d’une manière très précise quant à l’information du corps médical et du suivi du déroulement des émissions. L’évaluation du pilotage du système d’apprentissage de la langue anglaise durant le premier semestre de l’année1997 apermis de recueillir les informations pertinentes relatives aux caractéristiques de la population, aux avis des participants sur le déroulement de chaque téléconférence et aux besoins exprimés pour l’amélioration du niveau de la langue des participants.
Tenant compte de l’évaluation, nous avons procédé à des modifications dans la gestion du déroulement du système d’apprentissage de la langue, entre autres l’organisation d’ateliers, pour une meilleure efficacité.
