Résumé

The Russian-Ukrainian war has become a concern for the global economy, according to various estimates by research centers and institutions concerned with assessing the global economic situation, such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, among others, which have issued numerous reports predicting a crisis characterized primarily by a decline in global food security indicators due to the war, especially in poorer countries that heavily rely on the warring parties for importing many essential commodities for their food security.

Therefore, this study aims to examine the implications of the Russian-Ukrainian war on global food security by conducting a study and analysis of various indicators of global food security related to Russian and Ukrainian production, supply, and exports to countries around the world. The goal is to understand the reality of these indicators before and after the war in order to uncover the extent of change and the existing and potential risks to global food security in light of this war.
