حاجة الموهوبين والمتفوقين للمساعدة النفسية - دراسة تحليلية-

هناك اعتقاد لدى الكثير بأن الموهوبين والمتفوقين لا يحتاجون إلى مساعدة نفسية أو خدمات إرشادية أو توجيهيه لكونهم موهوبين، وقادرين على التعلم والنجاح بمفردهم دون رعاية خاصة، وعلى العكس من ذلك أكدت الدراسات أن نسبة غير قليلة منهم يعانون من معوقات مختلفة في بيئاتهم الأسرية والمدرسية والمجتمعية والتعليمية، وفي داخل ذواتهم، مما يهدد أمنهم النفسي ويولد داخلهم الصراع والتوتر، ويفقدهم الحماس والشعور بالثقة، وقد يؤدي ذلك إلى ضمور مواهبهم وطمس معالمها. فبالرغم مما يتمتع به الموهوبون والمتفوقون من استعدادات ومهارات وقدرات عقلية يمكنهم توظيفها في تلبية احتياجاتهم النفسية والعقلية والاجتماعية، وفي التعامل مع الضغوط التي يتعرضون لها، إلا أنهم بحاجة ماسة إلى خدمات إرشادية خاصة تساعدهم في التغلب على تلك المعوقات، وتعينهم على التوافق والتمتع بمستوى عال من الصحة النفسية.
